We are thrilled to have achieved a ‘hole-in-one’ on the recruitment front by enlisting the services of Kevin Bain.

Kevin Bain has been assigned the task of growing the business in his new role as Consulting Partner.

Kevin Bain

After spending a decade at The R&A, leading the digital transformation of golf’s global governing body, Kevin will be joining TEC’s team starting this month. With a wealth of over 20 years worth of digital and technology experience – encompassing digital transformation, strategy, fan engagement, in-venue technology, CRM and Data.

Highlights of Kevin Bain’s successful association with The R&A included implementing an innovative data-first approach to fan engagement and also introducing a digital membership programme which culminated in The Open selling out for the first time in its 159-year history in 2019.

When asked if he is excited about starting the next chapter of his career at TEC and using his skills to help the business to flourish in the future, Kevin said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at TEC at such an important time in their history and I look forward to contributing towards their continued success story. During my time at The R&A, I saw first-hand what a phenomenal partner TEC are to work alongside. Now I’m excited to be able to bring other new forward-thinking organisations on board, who will also benefit from the world-class level of service we can provide. I’m looking forward to driving the growth of our ambitious and progressive company with innovative and affordable digital solutions for businesses to benefit from across the world.”

Traian Rus, TEC CEO, welcomes Bain into the company’s senior management team and believes the Scot will add experience, expertise and energy to the organisation.
Traian added: “We’re delighted to have Kevin on board – he brings a wealth of valuable experience to our company, having previously achieved eye-catching success while working on one of the world’s biggest sporting events, The Open.
