Meet the TEC team at Sitecore Symposium

The TEC team are excited to meet you there.

The forthcoming event will be held at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, from 4th to 7th of November 2019, you can also see the full agenda here.

Sitecore Symposium brings together Sitecore experts, marketers, developers, partners, and customers from around the world to be inspired by several Sitecore success stories and get an overview of all the new and improved Sitecore functionality.

We’ve been working with Sitecore for the last 10 years, and within TEC we have developers that are keen to learn something new about this CMS. Our presence at the event will bring more insights about Sitecore’s plans for the future, that’s why it’s a must for us to be there for Pieter Brinkman & Mark Groves session on “What’s new in Sitecore land?”

Our true soul project has always been TheOpen.com. We want to thank The R&A digital team, Karen Lyttle, Graeme Smith and Kevin Bain for giving us the opportunity to support them in running The 148th Open at Royal Portrush. Once again you have made us feel like part of your team.

For the first time in history,  2020 tickets for The Open Championship at Royal St. George’s have sold out day tickets at the fastest rate – 6 weeks after going on sale. At Sitecore Symposium, UX & Design Manager Karen Lyttle will focus on the ticketing journey aspect of the wider digital project, telling you about re-designing the full ticketing experience.

The R&A have recently defined and implemented a digital transformation strategy for The Open to re-engage existing fans and capture new ones,  through the introduction of a new website that integrates every aspect of The Open from qualification and ticket sales to the live event itself, into a single connected experience.

We also want to congratulate the digital agency Delete for the amazing job they have done this year! It has been an incredible journey that has brought us working together on multiple projects, with a bright future in front of us.

Now we have the chance to be there and hopefully see The Open win multiple well-deserved awards! We are looking forward to meeting other attendees to discuss our ongoing work on The Open.
